不整脈男の生物観察

  モミジが地上に落ちた 星形の葉も、時間の経過と共に、丸く小さくなっていた それにしても、物凄い量のモミジだった 見上げて、木を見ると、枝しか残っていなかった。 The maple leaves fell on the ground. The star-shaped leaves had become smaller and rounder  with the passage of time. Still, it was an awful lot of maple leaves. When I looked up and saw the trees, all that was left were the only branches.

　　最盛期には、鮮やかに色づいたいた葉や、花も、 厳しい冬が訪れると、落葉し、花弁をも散る。 最盛期の色合いは、見事ではあるが、散った花弁も これまた美しい。 The leaves and flowers, which were brightly colored at their peak, were also beautiful. When the harsh winter arrives, the leaves fall and the petals also fall off. The color of the flower in its peak season is stunning, but the scattered petals are also beautiful.  

  江戸時代、茶屋街は武士の出入りは禁止されていた。 裕福な商人や聴衆のいが夜な夜な集って、遊宴を楽しんでいた。 清算は、全て「後日払い」。 お茶屋と限られた旦那衆とに間の信頼関係で成り立っていた。 During the Edo period, samurai were forbidden to enter the teahouse district. Wealthy merchants and audience members would gather there night after night to enjoy the festivities. All settlements were paid "at a later date". It was a relationship of trust between the teahouse and a limited number of masters.

  ここに４羽のカモがいる。 左端のカモは、嘴付近が気になるようだ。 右脚でその個所をこすっていた。 とすれば、左脚一本で立っていることになる。 バランス感覚が素晴らしい。 Here are four ducks. The leftmost duck seemed to be bothered by the beak area. She was rubbing the area with its right leg. Then it was standing on its left leg alone. Her sense of balance is excellent.

  女性は、耳に耳飾りをすると、一段のその人の個性が引き立つ。 モミジの幹も同じように、小さな枝先に沢山のモミジを 付けていると、女性の耳と同じような効果があって、とても美しい。 A woman can add a layer of personality to her ears with an earring. The same goes for maple trunks, a lot of maples on the tips of small branches. When worn, it has the same effect as a woman's ears and looks very beautiful.

  １２月に入ってから、外気温が下がってきた。 人間も寒くなると、背が丸まってくるが、 池のカモも、人と同様で身体を丸めてじっとしていた。 It's December or so, and the temperature outside is dropping. As humans get colder, our backs start to curl up, but the pond ducks, like people, curled up and stayed put.

 　３０分をわずか数秒で！  I took this movie for about 30 minutes, but it finishes in just a few seconds!  ダイヤモンド富士を期待したが、雲で見えず。 I was expecting to see Diamond Fuji, but the clouds prevented me from seeing it.

 　　　百日紅の樹がほぼ幹と枝だけになってしまった。 　　色づいた葉を身に付けているモミジの樹とは、対照的である。 　　 　　北海道の旭川では、気温がマイナス一度らしい。 　　二カ月前に、旭川に行った時は、秋の終わりであった。 　　この百日紅に雪が積もるのも、もうすぐだろう。 The crape myrtle tree has been reduced to almost nothing but trunk and branches. It was a stark contrast to the maple tree, which was wearing colored leaves. In Asahikawa, Hokkaido, the temperature is said to be minus one degree Celsius. When I went to Asahikawa two months ago, it was the end of autumn. The snow will soon be piling up on this crape myrtle.

  シベリアから白鳥が渡って来る。 １２月、１月は日本で翼を休めて、春初めには戻る。 地上の人間が、皆マスクをしているので、異様に感じるかも知れない。 Swans come over from Siberia. They rest their wings in Japan in December and January and return in early spring. It may seem strange because the humans on the ground are all wearing masks.

          一枚、一枚の葉にまるで個性があるかの如く、 　色付き具合が異なっている。 　なので、いっそう、美しく見えた。    It's as if each leaf has its own personality,  　as the coloration is different. 　So it looked even more beautiful. Photo taken near my house. Nikon D6, 105mm f /1.4

 　　大きな２本の樹が、根元で合体していた。 そして、大地から栄養分を吸収するために、根っ子が四方八方に 延びていた。 生きていく、大自然の逞しさを感じた。 Two large trees were merged at the base of the tree. And to absorb nutrients from the earth, the rootlets were stretching in all directions. I felt the resilience of Mother Nature to live.

 　実際に飛び上った人は、４名でした。 残りの４名は、一応膝が少し曲がっているので、 飛び上る意志はあったと思いますが、 タイミングを逸したようです。(^_-)-☆ There were four people who actually jumped up. The remaining four people have a slightly bent knee, just in case. I think they have a will to jump up, but its timing seems to have been off. (^_-)-☆

     犬が草を食べる理由は様々な説があるようだが、 水鳥も、犬と同様な行為をするようだ。 白鳥がしきりに草を啄んでいたから。 There are many theories as to why dogs eat grass, but water swans seem to behave similarly to dogs. Because the swans have been incessantly pecking at the grass.

  海の写真には、岩が欲しい。 丁度いい具合に、岸辺近くに岩があったので、 その岩も左に位置させて写真をとった。 岸辺の斜めになって、迫力を増した。 I want a rock for my ocean photos. Just in time, I found a rock near the shore. The rock was also positioned to the left to take a picture. It is at an angle to the shore, adding to its power.

  長い歴史を刻んだ幹には、りっぱな苔が生えていた。 その年代物の苔の上に、今年のモミジが落ちていた。 新旧がひとつになった瞬間であった。 There was a lush moss growing on the long, historic trunk. This year's maple tree had fallen on the old moss. It was a moment when the old and the new became one.

静かな渓流と次第に色付き始めた山の景色 思わずホッとする風景に我を忘れる。 　　　　　　　　　　Quiet mountain scenery with a quiet stream  　　　　　　　　　　and gradually starting to color,                              You will forget yourself in the scenery                               that makes you feel relieved.  

　　　　写真を抽象画にしてみた、 　　すると、雰囲気が変わった。 　　物事には、変化が必要で、様々な視点が大切だ。 　 　　I have changed the photo into the form of abstract paintings,    then I felt the atmosphere of the picture has changed. 　Things need to change and different perspectives are important.  

　脳の錯覚とは面白いものだ。 視覚に見えるものが、自分が興味あるものに変わってしまう。 中央の白い苔模様を見ていると、左から右へ ＳＬが走っているように見えた。(^^♪ Brain illusions are interesting things. What you see visually turns into what you are interested in. Looking at the white moss pattern in the center, from left to right, it looked like a Steam Locomotive was running. (^^♪

  現在の山陰線の列車は、乗客が少ない。 コロナ禍で余計に、少なく感じる。 いつも、がら空きだと、赤字経営になる。 最近、無人駅がずいぶんと増えている。 The current Sanin Line trains have fewer passengers. The corona disaster makes it feel even less. Whenever the trains are empty, the company is in the red. Recently, the number of unmanned stations is increasing significantly.

夕方、西の空を眺めていると、飛行機が数機、飛来してくる。 どうも海岸線を飛行機ルートに選んでいるようだ。 地形的に見ても、パイロットはこの方が飛びやすいのだろう。 In the evening, while looking at the western sky,  several airplanes were flying by. They seemed to have chosen the coastline as their airplane route.
