落葉したモミジ

  モミジが地上に落ちた

星形の葉も、時間の経過と共に、丸く小さくなっていた

それにしても、物凄い量のモミジだった

見上げて、木を見ると、枝しか残っていなかった。

The maple leaves fell on the ground.

The star-shaped leaves had become smaller and rounder 

with the passage of time.

Still, it was an awful lot of maple leaves.

When I looked up and saw the trees, all that was left were the only branches.
