百日紅の葉 と 川底の鵜

        百日紅の花は散り、

　　残された葉がお城を眺めていたよ。

　The crape myrtle flowers have already fallen this time,

　and I could see the remained leaves have just seen the castle.

    江戸川堤防を自転車で走っていたら、

川底が見える浅瀬に、沢山の鵜を見つけた。

カワウは、集団で生活するようだ。

 While I was riding my bike along the river Edo bank,

I found many cormorants in the shallows where we could see the riverbed.

Cormorants seem to live in groups.
